KENNY LATTIMORE WILL JOIN #AAAM2020 FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER! CONFERENCE REGISTRATION OPEN NOW. CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS.
The Association of African American Museums (AAAM) recently announced that Grammy-nominated Kenny Lattimore will join the #AAAM2020 Conference lineup.
Lattimore will make his AAAM debut at the 42nd annual conference and participate in a special concert for AAAM members, supporters, and friends on Thursday, August 6, at 6:30 pm EST. All conference full-access registrants will have the opportunity to join the concert and post-concert reception.
“We are thrilled and honored to have Kenny Lattimore perform during our 42nd annual conference. This year’s conference is fully virtual, and it was important for us to continue to provide an experience for our attendees that resembles our in-person conference. When Mr. Lattimore accepted our invitation to perform, it brightened our entire day. We just announced his performance to our members and supporters, and our phones have been ringing non-stop since then. I think it’s safe to say we are excited,” says Executive Director of AAAM, Vedet Coleman-Robinson.
Registration for the AAAM 42nd annual conference is open. Registering for “full access” will allow attendees to experience Kenny Lattimore’s performance as well as the full conference. Learn what African American museums throughout the country and internationally are doing to combat social injustice and how they plan to address the needs of their respective communities during the COVID-19 pandemic.
