Engage, Connect, Protect: Networking Reception and Fireside Chat with Author Angelou Ezeilo

Greening Youth Foundation (GYF) Founder and CEO Angelou Ezeilo is working to change the face of conservation in the US by helping young people of color find meaningful outdoor careers. GYF’s signature program is its Youth Conservation Corps which has placed thousands of young people in conservation internships across the country.

Moderated by National Parks Conservation Association President and CEO Theresa Pierno, Angelou will talk about her work and her new book: Engage, Connect, Protect: Empowering Diverse Youth as Environmental Leaders. The fireside chat will be preceded by a networking reception for environmental advocates, professionals, and students interested in conservation. This event will include a raffle sponsored by Patagonia.
