Join us as we listen to oral traditions of cooking from AAAM’s own Dre Taylor.  Not only will we have the chance to hear from Mr. Taylor, but we will also have the opportunity to cook his grandmother’s fried chicken recipe!   Grab your ingredients, get your tablet or phone, head to your kitchen and let’s see what’s cooking!

Peach Buttermilk Chicken

Grandma’s Fried Chicken (a pinch of this recipe)

Chicken thighs

Sea salt

Onion powder

Buttermilk

Peach nectar

Flour

Cornstarch

Black pepper

Canola oil (or vegetable oil)

Marinate the chicken thighs in a mixture of buttermilk and peach nectar for at least two hours (overnight is best).

In a deep fryer or large pan, heat the oil.
