Your Legacy Tours

Join the African American Association of Museums’ Conference attendees and local Black Nashville Community on a Your Legacy Tours, hosted by Greenwood Seneca Foundation in partnership with Traveller’s Rest Historic House Museum.

Unlike other historic site tours we will…

  • Travel to the space together on a chartered bus (included in ticket price)
  • Honor the space, energy and spirit of the ancestors
  • Cheers to their life as we explore their labor (wine and libations also included)
  • Participate in private docent led tour of the grounds
  • Incorporate AR technology to reconnect to the lives of our ancestors
  • Learn history from the lens of the lives they lived not just the labor they endured
  • Debrief as a community over Black – owned coffee
  • Shop at gift shop curated with local artisans and Black businesses who contribute to Your Legacy Tours

Greenwood Seneca Foundation is proud to partner with Association of African American Museums Annual conference to host their first annual, Your Legacy Tours, at Travellers Rest Historic House Museum where conference guests will be invited to reclaim joy and honor in the experience of their history through a curated invite-only tour of the site.
