DRU HILL WILL JOIN #AAAM2022!  CONFERENCE REGISTRATION OPEN NOW.  CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS.

The Association of African American Museums (AAAM) recently announced that Dru Hill will join the #AAAM2022 Conference lineup.

Dru Hill will make their AAAM debut at the 44th annual conference and participate in a special concert for AAAM members, supporters, and friends on Friday, August 12 at 7:00 pm ET during the closing reception.  All conference full-access registrants will have the opportunity to join the concert and post-concert reception.  Dru Hill will perform as part of their 25th Anniversary at the Black Archives Historic Lyric Theater sponsored by City of Miami Commission Chairwoman Christine King, the Southeast Overtown Park West Community Redevelopment Agency, and the Greater Miami Visitors and Conventions Bureau.

“We are thrilled and honored to have Dru Hill perform during our 44th annual conference.  This year’s conference will be in-person and virtual, and it was important for us to continue to provide an experience for our attendees that allows for us to convene in a way that is specific to the culture of AAAM.  When Dru Hill accepted our invitation to perform, it brightened our entire day.  We just announced their performance to our members and supporters, and our phones have been ringing non-stop since then.  I think it’s safe to say we are excited,” says Executive Director of AAAM, Dr. Vedet Coleman-Robinson.
