2022 AAAM|EMP Internship Application

Through a generous award provided by the Institute of Museums and Library Services, the Association of African American Museums is pleased to announce the AAAM|EMP Internship. Funding through the private foundation was given to assist the association with advancing AAAM’s HBCU and Emerging Museum Professionals initiatives.

~ Six Paid Internships – $15,000

Positions for consideration:

* Special Projects Intern – Internship within the AAAM Office (1)

* Internships within AAAM Institutional Member Host Sites (5)

~ 10 -12 week

~ One-Year AAAM Membership

~ 2023 Conference Registration, Lodging, Travel, Per Diem

Positions at Host Sites are TBD based on the need of the site and the interest of each prospective selected applicant.
