Finding Family in Tragedy and Trauma

Join the Senator John Heinz History Center, the Afro-American Historical & Genealogical Society of Pittsburgh, and the Department of Africana Studies University of Pittsburgh with the annual African American Genealogy Workshop, “Finding Family in Tragedy and Trauma” on Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 10:00 am to 12 ;; noon. The featured presenters will be from Franklin Global LLC, with John W. Franklin and Karen Franklin as they present information of the family roots in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Westmorland County Pennsylvania. In recognition of 100 Years since the massacre at Tulsa, Oklahoma Franklin Global and Carolyn Johnson.
