Baltimore School of the Arts Historical Monologue Project: Druid Hill Avenue

Join the Baltimore School of the Arts Theater Department exploring Baltimore’s Druid Hill Avenue neighborhood during the early 20th century through the eyes of the African American community. BSA sophomore theater students will present video monologues and a virtual talk back exploring women’s suffrage, segregated housing ordinances and musical artistry of Eubie Blake in the groundbreaking musical “Shuffle Along”.
