The AAAM|EMPs celebrated Women’s History Month on Friday March 12 at 6 pm ET. The group showcased three women within the AAAM cultural sector that empower women through their work. Kaila Austin, AAAM|EMP Communications Manager, guided the conversation with guest: Eola Dance, Olivia Williams, and Lauren Tate Baeza to cover the representation of BIPOC in white spaces as well as current issues of race and gender experienced in the field. The AAAM|EMPs spoke to these influential women who are currently making a difference in their institutions, in their communities, and in the field writ large.
This initiative was open to all AAAM Members and Supporters.
