Providing support for the National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC) Treasures national community program through presentations and as a reviewer for participant objects. Created the NMAAHC Collections Emergency Preparedness Policy and Disaster Preparedness Response Plan. NMAAHC Conservation Internship for Broadening Access (CIBA) representative for Mellon Foundation Smithsonian Institution Pan-Institutional Undergraduate Conservation Internship Program for Underrepresented Groups. Serves on Smithsonian Institution, Connecting to Collections Care Diversity and Inclusion Working Group and Foundation for Advancement in Conservation Professional Development Working Group and Outreach Advisory Group. Task Force and Working Group activities include: Serving on Smithsonian Institution (SI) Preparedness and Response in Collections Emergencies (PRICE) Logistics working group; SI Armament planning working group; SI Collections Collaboration Community (C3) Diversity, Equity, Access, and Inclusion (DEAI) working group; SI African American Association Affinity Group member of lead team. Served as Association of Registrars and Collections Specialists (ARCS) co-lead for Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (IDEA) Task Force. Mentoring activities include serving as mentor in the Mid-Atlantic Association of Museums development program.

Served formerly as Head of Collections at NMAAHC, coordinated and oversaw program collections management activities with a staff of 14 including major construction projects for collections storage, conservation and museum requirements, and Smithsonian Archives cold storage. Principal Investigator for The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation NMAAHC Collections Grant $2M (2013) and for CIBA grant $200K (2016).
