The Assocation of African American Museums is pleased to annouce the #AAAMLegacySeries. This series will pay homage to those who helped shape and mold AAAM over the past 43 years of our existence. Throughout the year we will spotlight leaders, visionaries, and institutions that have been pivotal in the growth of our institutions and the museum professionals in the African American museum culture. We salute and honor these individuals who have paved the way for us to break barriers, preserve our history, and tell the stories of our culture.
