Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, Jeff May has had the privilege to present a wide range of trainings, seminars, and keynote addresses to audiences throughout the United States.

As a longtime educator, Jeff has dedicated his life to ensuring that education is equitable, fair, and accessible for all students. He has a passion for youth engagement and building authentic relationships with young people, implementing restorative practices, social-emotional interventions and closing the achievement gap.

In addition to his work as a nationally acclaimed educational consultant and strategist, he also serves as the Chief Administrative Officer for the San Antonio African American Community Archive and Museum (SAAACAM), the third largest in the country. The mission of SAAACAM is to collect, preserve and share the rich cultural history of African Americans within the San Antonio region.

Additionally, he sits on the Board of Directors and serves as the Board Chair of R.O.O.T.S Mentoring Inc. R.O.O.T.S is nonprofit organization dedicated to the advancement and development of youth and their families. He also proudly serves as a member of the San Antonio Area African American Community Fund Board.

Mr. May is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., the first inter-collegiate fraternity for African American males.

The message of hope and inspiration that Jeff carries with him is this:
