Virtual Program: Margaret Walker’s Birthday

Livestream cooking demonstration celebration for Margaret Walker’s 105th birthday featuring Footprint Farms, Chef Enrika Williams of Fauna Foodworks, and JSU Professor C. Liegh McInnis

In celebration of Margaret Walker’s 105th birthday, the Margaret Walker Center (MWC) at Jackson State University, in partnership with Footprint Farms, will present a 30-minute virtual cooking demonstration on Tuesday, July 7, at 6 p.m. The event will feature Walker’s recipe for maple nut cake and be livestreamed on the Jackson State Facebook page from Footprint Farms.
