Living While Black – A Town Hall Discussion

April 28, 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Living While Black – A Town Hall  Discussion
Wednesday, April 28
8 PM EST

Join the Reginald F. Lewis Museum  for  a virtual  town hall to discuss the state of the Black community as it relates to policing, racial and social justice.  As America watched the trial of Derrick Chauvin, just 10 miles away from the tragic murder of George Floyd less than a year ago, we had to endure another murder of an unarmed Black man, Daunte Wright.  Why are we here?

Join Dr. Kaye Whitehead, (WEAA’s Today with  Dr. Kaye) and Adam Jackson, CEO of Leaders of a Beautiful Struggle, as they help us make sense out of what is nonsensical, and create a path forward for change and progress.  This virtual discussion will review the facts, facilitate your questions, and provide us with some next steps to address these issues here in Baltimore and beyond.
