CollectionSpace Community Collections Spotlight: Public Art Archive Implementation

January 28, 2021 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Description:
This webinar will offer an exploration into the world of public art collections management with Emily Wilkinson, the Director for Public Art at Texas Tech University (TTU), and Lori Goldstein, the Manager of WESTAF’s Public Art Archive (PAA). Since the program’s inception in 1998, TTU has installed over one hundred works of art across campuses throughout Texas. Wilkinson will discuss how her PAA Collections Management System, built specifically for the public art field through a partnership between CollectionSpace and the Public Art Archive, has helped to guide her daily and long term workflows and support the dynamic processes that encompass the practice of public art.
