Braver Together: Strengthening Civil and Human Rights
Strengthening civic structures and supporting civil and human rights takes bravery.
Individual acts of heroism can be inspiring, but movements and consistent change are built through collective bravery. This pay what you can interactive virtual session will draw on experiences from across the country and around the world to offer tools and frameworks for cultural workers to ignite bravery around themselves and be forces for positive change.
Who’s Facilitating?
Braden Paynter (Long Trail Consulting), Stacey Garcia, and Linda Norris (Creative Futures, LLC). We’re three cultural professionals with a broad range of experiences, most recently at the International Coalition of Sites of Conscience. We’re committed to bringing folks together to learn from each other.
What’s the Cost?
Pay what you can- suggestion of $10.
All funds will be donated and split amongst the facilitators’ local food banks: Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program, Greater Franklin (NY) Food Pantry, and Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Cruz County
