Urgent Action Needed to Preserve the Freedom Rides Museum
Dear Members and Supporters,
We need your voice to help preserve the Freedom Rides Museum in Montgomery, Alabama—a site that stands as a powerful testament to the bravery of the Freedom Riders and a pivotal moment in the Civil Rights Movement. The museum, housed in the historic Greyhound bus station where Freedom Riders were attacked in 1961, is at risk of being sold by the Department of General Services Administration (DOGE).
As an advocacy organization committed to preserving African American history, AAAM is mobilizing efforts to protect this landmark, but we need your support.
