Despite facing racial discrimination, Dr. James Still, brother of abolitionist William Still, built a successful medical practice focused on herbal remedies and essential oils. He believed in higher guidance and continued to thrive. His life exemplifies resilience, and his 1877 autobiography entitled Early Recollections and Life of Dr. James Still serves as a guiding light, encouraging future generations to work hard and educate themselves.

The bus will depart from the Loews Philadelphia Hotel at 9:30 am and will return to the hotel at 2:45 pm.
