Two Margaret T. G. Burroughs and Charles H. Wright Fellowships are awarded: one award goes to a senior-level undergraduate or graduate student, and a second award is awarded to a first-year museum professional. Fellowship recipients receive:
- Full Conference Registration
- Hotel Accommodations
- Travel to the Conference (New Addition – domestic travel)
- Two-Year Membership (New Addition – In previous years, the fellows received one year of membership)
- Acknowledgement in the program booklet
- Certificate acknowledging selection as fellows (New Addition)
- Applicants must outline their contributions to the African American and/or African diaspora museum field.
